Student Advocate K-1
The Student Advocate at the Community Education Building (CEB) is responsible for supporting and monitoring the SEL and academic growth of early elementary school students assigned to their cohort through regular contact and collaboration with the student, caregivers, school staff, and all other stakeholders (including enrichment educators, mentors etc.). The K-1 Student Advocate also assists heavily with caregiver/family coaching to support caregivers in developing vital school connections, integrating active parenting practice, and supporting their child with developing strong habits of success; and supporting with learning at home. As an advocate, they support parents and caregivers with achieving their own goals and accessing resources.
Assistant to the COO
The Assistant to the COO provides support to the Chief Operating Officer and Operations Team. In this role, the Assistant to the COO will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the COO office. The Assistant to the COO supports executive outreach and external relations efforts on behalf of the COO. This is a full-time position, exempt position eligible for full benefits including onsite parking.
Student Advocate
The Student Advocate at the Community Education Building (CEB) is responsible for monitoring the progress of middle and high school students assigned to their caseload through regular contact and collaboration with the student, caregivers, school staff, and all other stakeholders (including enrichment educators, mentors etc.). This is a full-time position with full benefits and parking.
Food Resources Specialist
This position will support the Family Resource Center (FRC) at the Community Education Building (CEB) to distribute food to families, organize the pantry, unpack inventory, rotate shelves, make deliveries, and reach out to families to set up appointments. Under the direction of the FRC Coordinator, the Food Resources Specialist position involves front-facing client service; administrative support; and adult program facilitation. This role supports all Pantry duties, including implementing weekly pantry emails and orders, maintenance of the pantry, and providing general assistance to students, teachers, and CEB Community patrons that visit the pantry. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and a client services approach to be able to engage and serve patrons from all backgrounds and ages, and coordinate members from multiple schools to serve our families in need.
Family Advocate
The Family Advocate at the Community Education Building (CEB) acts as a liaison between parents and family resource support and family education programs (FAM programs). In addition to supporting a small cohort of students with critical support needs, the Family Advocate is responsible for being the main liaison between all students serving CEB staff and school family support staff, and the CEB Family Resource Center.
